It is becoming popular for members to feature images on their signature blocks, which may display their favourite characters or scenes or a custom built option. Due to the increasing popularity, it has become necessary to enforce some rules about pictures.

In terms of what can be displayed:

The maximum height for a signature picture is 100 pixels.
The maximum width is 450 pixels.
Signature pictures must be clean and follow the forums general rules on general conduct.
As a courtesy, you should include a brief line indicating who created your picture.

In terms of getting pictures for your signatures:

There are a number of members who can create signature pictures.
There will be a thread dedicated for members to request specific images from other members.
Replies to requests for specific pictures MUST be by PM to the member directly.
All conversation regarding the individual creation will be by PM.
We do not host pictures for your signature. You are required to find your own way to host.

Finally, animated signatures (ie ones that move or otherwise change) are now prohibited.


These changes will come into force on the 22nd April. Members who have images that do not follow these rules will have their signatures removed by Admin.

We are doing this to reduce the loading time and length of pages and to reduce the strain on our webserver. Members may have noticed a slow response lately in visiting the site, so we are taking steps to reduce this problem.

Please remember that the ability to have custom signatures on this forum is a priveledge. Do not abuse it, or you will loose it.
